Building community flood resilience in Jordan

Although Jordan is one of the most water-scarce countries in the world, floods are a common hazard, with intensity and frequency expected to increase due to climate change. Since 2021, Mercy Corps has been working with four flood-prone communities: Ma'in, Wadi Musa, Sweimeh and northern Azraq. In this video, community members and government officials share their thoughts about the impact of the Zurich Flood Resilience Alliance's work in Jordan.
