23rd – 27th May 2022.
The European Geosciences Union (EGU) is the leading organisation for Earth, planetary and space science research in Europe. Their General Assembly brings together geoscientists from all over the world for one meeting covering all disciplines of the Earth, planetary, and space sciences. The event provides a forum where scientists, especially early career scientists, can present their work and discuss their ideas with experts in all fields of geoscience.
After two online-only Assemblies, the 2022 edition will feature a combination of in-person experiences and online participation. Zurich Flood Resilience Alliance colleagues from the following partner organisations will be in attendance, running sessions and presenting knowledge on flood resilience:
- Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment at London School of Economics (LSE)
- International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis
- Zurich Insurance Group
- International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC)
- Institute for Social and Environmental Transition (ISET)
- Practical Action
You can find out more about the event and its new format on the EGU2022 website.
