WEBINAR: Impact Through Advocacy – Evidence and advice from the Zurich Flood Resilience Alliance

The Zurich Flood Resilience Alliance invites you to attend a webinar exploring how combining advocacy efforts with community programming can improve the lives of those most vulnerable to climate-related shocks and stresses.

Drawing from our most recent learning report, which features examples of successful advocacy in our work across the world, Alliance colleagues will be unpacking the various ways in which they have brought about change, and sharing their top tips.

Where/when?

Wednesday 8th February 2023, 15:00-16:15 CET.

Participants:

Giorgio is the Communications Products Coordinator at Practical Action in Peru, and will be discussing the journey from intervention to scaling in a long term, phased programme.

Sajan is Policy and Advocacy Specialist at Mercy Corps in Nepal, and will be exploring the process of increasing local budgets for resilience.

Sara is Research Officer at the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment, part of the London School of Economics and Political Science, and will be going through the ways in which resilience data can be integrated into local planning in an urban OECD context.

Karen is the Executive Director of the Institute for Social and Environmental Transition – International, and will be moderating the discussion.

The recording of this webinar is now available here.
